Many setups skip over the frets entirely.
Or worse — they try to “fix” a high fret by leveling right away. That’s often a mistake.
If a fret is loose, leveling doesn’t solve the problem — it can actually make it worse.
A MasterPro Guitar Setup™ includes a full fret check as part of the process.
Before any setup work is completed, the frets are checked for:
- loose frets
- high frets
- sharp fret ends
- overall condition
If an issue is found, it’s identified and explained before proceeding. Because proper fretwork — like leveling, re-seating, or replacement — is a separate operation and may involve additional cost.
